Things here are going fine. I've been a little more on the ball lately planning my classes and making sure I know exactly what I'm doing. I do have my slack moments, even if the other western teachers don't think so. Most of the time the other 3 I work with don't plan and just walk into class and pull things together. I just can't do that....pull things out of nowhere. Anyhow....this week I've been doing ok trying to actually plan the day before for the next classes. Seems to be going well, but we'll see how long it goes. I just don't want to get to the point of just showing movies, as I've seen recently by a few of them. That's all I ask of myself.

One of my phonics classes that I teach has been cracking me up lately. They pulled a "made ya look" on me in Korean one day, so I thought I'd teach them the English, something you wouldn't get anywhere except from a native speaker. They definitely picked up on it easily and remember it well enough. They've been using it everyday since....basically for the last 2 weeks. It's funny. Each time, they just bust out giggling, even if it's the 50th time they've done it to me. Man I wish I could be entertained that easily.
